Our customer wanted this chair transformed from the red color to the tan color. We had many challenges with this project including some misconceptions. First, our team had to strip the entire piece and take the chair apart. This included removing all of the old nails. We then had to stain the frame and reupholster with the new tan leather. All nails were replaced with new nails and pounded into place for a seamless look.
A misconception, that many customers have, is that the higher the sheen the higher durability a piece of furniture has and that is just not the case. Sheen has nothing to do with the durability of a piece of furniture.
